WATP Report: A local news weekly named Parichoy reported a civil case lodged against Biswajit Saha, a elf-proclaimed erudite and protector of secularism and Bengali culture abroad in the south Asian community-based in Jackson Heights. Nevertheless, according to the civil  action filed in the New York supreme court, the county of Queens described entirely otherwise.  

According to the case, Plaintiff described Biswajit Saha as a greedy,power-hungry, manipulative Hindu fanatic who believes in Hindu supremacy overall faith. This man will do anything and everything to manipulate anyone to achieve his goal. He would not care whether someone’s life goes to hell, or otherwise as long he makes money and 

undermines other faith, very specifically the religion of Islam, said Farhana Akhtar, the Plaintiff of this case. Biswajit Saha has been involved with money laundering and human trafficking by bookfair in new york for over a decade. He takes money from dozens of people; sometimes, he brings one or two individuals every year; others run behind him to get their money back for years. However, at some point, some people get tired, and others become silenced by the threat by Biswajit Saha with the help of higher government officials, bureaucrats, including police, RAB, and others.

Finally, Farhana Akter, a victim of Biswajit Saha, finds the courage to file a case against Biswajit Saha, agent of Muktadhara Inc., Muktadhara New York, Inc. and organizer of New York Book Fair, Muktadhara Foundation, Inc. along with Ismotara Jahan, the girlfriend, and co-conspirator of the crimes. The docket number of the civil action is 724327/2021. In her lawsuit, Farhana Akhtar alleged that some people referred her to Biswajit Saha and Ismotara Jahan. They can be helpful to obtain USA VISA for her two family members. On February 26, 2021, Farhana Akter met Mr. Saha and Ms. Jahan at their office in Jackson Heights. At first, he pretended like he had no clue about hatever she was talking about!

Nevertheless, at one point in the conversation, he admitted everything. He claims with pride that with whom he maintained a relationship. Most of the higher officials of the current government in Bangladesh are helping him in this work. Ismat Ara and Biswajit Saha proudly disclosed their personal and business ties with current Foreign 

Minister A.K. Abul Momen, Prime Minister’s Adviser Abdus Sobahan Golap, NRB Chairman Nizam Chowdhury, Dr. Nurunnabi, Dr. Masudul Hasan, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed, and Dr. Mohammad Ali Manik. I am the one who helped Dr. Nurunnabi getting EKUSHE PADAK, said Biswajit Saha.  

After much discussion, Biswajit Saha stated that he is taking $50,000.00 (fifty thousand) dollars per person. Plaintiff Farhana Akter was very surprised to learn the fee of 50 thousand dollars for each person as she heard that Biswajit Saha takes $25,000 per head. When Plaintiff asked about the cost, Ismatara Jahan said, “Dada gives 

discounts for the members of Hindu-Buddhist and Christian Oikyo Parishad as he has a special relationship with Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of India. They asked Dada to do it.” Later on, Farhana Akter and Biswajit Saha agreed to some specific terms; Farhana Akter will pay $60,000.00 (sixty thousand) dollars, and it has to be cash. Moreover, the remaining balance will be cash on delivery before handing over the passport with the visa. But Farhana Akter must not call Biswajit Saha and talk about this agreement. This transaction must be all-cash and must be hundred-dollar bills.   

According to the agreement, Plaintiff paid sixty thousand dollars in the presence of a witness. However, there was no visa; Neither Biswajit Saha nor Ismat Ara Jahan was communicating. When Plaintiff called one day out of curiosity, Biswajit Saha said, “Once you call again, all the agreements are over.” He hung upthe phone. A few days later, Biswajit Saha and Ismotara Jahan informed Plaintiff Farhana Akter that the Prime Minister was coming in September. Plaintiff’s friends/family members will come as the PM’s delegate. However, as the friends/family members did not come with the Prime Minister, the plaintiffs tried to contact Biswajit Saha and Ismatara Jahan but failed.

While the prime minister was in New York, Plaintiff Farhana Akter received a threatening phone call from a block number. A male voice said, “we know the name and address of all of your family members and relatives in Bangladesh. If You care about their safety, you better stay quiet and not call and talk to anyone about this deal. Otherwise, your relatives in Bangladesh will just disappear.”

Plaintiff Farhana Akter became helpless as she and her relatives had no chance to get fair justice in Bangladesh, where no judicial system or process exists. Bangladesh became a country where lawlessness became laws, lies became superior to truth, and the Autocratic ruler’s word became the court’s verdict. That is why Plaintiff had no other choice but took refuge before the court in the USA for justice.
